Tech Environmental and Ameriprise Financial join Hobbs Brook Office Park
WALTHAM, Mass. – June 5, 2009 – Hobbs Brook Management LLC, a pioneer in the development of office space in the Boston suburbs, announced today that it has signed two new leases for Hobbs Brook Office Park. Tech Environmental has taken space in 303 Wyman Street and Ameriprise Financial has moved into 275 Wyman Street.
Tech Environmental, an air quality and noise consultant, signed a lease for 3,000 square feet and moved into their offices at 303 Wyman Street in mid-May. Formerly located on Trapelo Road in Waltham, Tech Environmental chose the Hobbs Brook Office Park for its proximity to Route 128/95; the park amenities, specifically the dining services and the on-site gym; and the strength of maintenance and oversight exhibited by Hobbs Brook Management.
“Most of the other office spaces we looked at were comparable in terms of location, and price,” said Michael Lannan, P.E., vice president of Tech Environmental. “We chose Hobbs Brook Office Park specifically because it is clearly well run, has many different amenities, and the recently renovated building is in exceptional shape. In addition, the ownership is stable, we received excellent and honest advice from our broker and Hobbs Brook’s representative, and we were thrilled with Majestic Construction, the firm Hobbs Brook selected to perform the build-out. The suite was actually finished early and completely as promised.”
Ameriprise Financial, a diversified financial services company, is merging two practices currently located in Waltham and Winchester, and selected the Hobbs Brook Office Park for similar reasons.
“The Hobbs Brook Office Park is a convenient location for our existing clients, most of whom are located within the metro-Boston area,” said James Forcier, a certified financial planner practitioner for Ameriprise. “But a great location isn’t enough if the management company isn’t reputable. In addition, the upkeep of the buildings and grounds, the character of the existing tenants, and the strong history of property management all contributed to our decision – one we’re very happy with.”
Ameriprise signed a lease for 2,000 square feet in 275 Wyman Street and moved in May 1st.
Majestic Construction, Inc. of North Attleboro was the construction manager for both tenant fit-outs.
