WALTHAM, Mass. – July 11, 2011 – Hobbs Brook Management, LLC, a pioneer in the development of office space in the Boston suburbs, announced today that it made a donation of $5,200 to the Waltham Gridiron Foundation. Each year, Hobbs Brook Management offers to pay $200 for every touchdown the Waltham High School football team makes during the season. This year the team made 26 touchdowns.
“Through the generosity of Tom Dusel and Hobbs Brook Management, the Waltham Gridiron Foundation has been able to offer scholarships to deserving football players and cheerleaders for over ten years,” said Richard Wetherbee, president of the foundation. “We’ve come to rely upon this support to help keep our well-developed program running, and we look forward to our banquet at the Forefront every year.”
Hobbs Brook Management is the owner and property manager of the Forefront Conference Center located in Hobbs Brook Office Park. In addition to donating $5,200, Hobbs Brook Management hosts the annual Football Banquet at the Forefront Conference Center at no cost to the Waltham Gridiron Foundation. This year, 160 football players, cheerleaders and parents attended the banquet.
