  • 1952: Two insurance companies within the Factory Mutual Network combine resources and form Middlesex Mutual Building Trust (MMBT) to purchase the land on which Hobbs Brook Office Park (HBOP) is currently located.
  • 1954: 225 Wyman Street becomes the first office building on Interstate 128.
  • 1957: 225 Wyman Street, designed by Anderson, Beckwith and Haible, wins an American Institutes of Architects (AIA) honor award.
  • 1962: 590 Lincoln Street is built for the Jarrell Ash Company and becomes the third building within the Hobbs Brook Office Park, making it the first suburban office park in metropolitan Boston
  • 1989: 404 Wyman Street receives the Judges’ Grand Design award from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) as the best overall project for its sustainable design and unique approach to cooling the building through thermal ice storage.
  • 1999: MMBT becomes Hobbs Brook Management
  • 1999: Three buildings in Park Ridge Illinois become part of the HBM portfolio of properties
  • 2001-03: HBM develops and builds 601 and 701 Edgewater Drive in the Edgewater Office Park in Wakefield, Mass.
  • 2009: HBM acquires 301 and 401 Edgewater Place in the Edgewater Office Park in Wakefield, Mass.
  • 2009: The Four Points by Sheraton Norwood is recognized by Starwood North America as its Hotel of the Year
  • 2010: Construction is completed on the 175-185 Wyman Street complex, with two buildings encompassing more than 335,000 SF, and garnering three design awards.
  • 2010: Dassault Systemes Americas leases the entire complex at 175-185 Wyman Street, earning Hobbs Brook the Largest Suburban Office Lease award from the Commercial Broker’s Association (CBA).
  • 2010: The Boston Business Journal recognizes HBM as a Corporate Citizenship Partner in the education and training category. HBM is honored for its work with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Compensated Work Therapy Program.
  • 2011: HBM purchases 101, 201, and 500 Edgewater Drive in Wakefield, Mass., making it the sole owner of all seven buildings within Edgewater Office Park.
  • 2012: Hobbs Brook Management celebrates its 60th anniversary
  • 2012: HBM acquires 95 Hayden Avenue in Lexington, Mass.
  • 2013: 1301 Atwood Avenue in Johnston RI is redeveloped for LEED Gold certification
  • 2013: HBM purchases Preston Ridge III in Alpharetta, Ga.
  • 2013-15: 275 Wyman Street is completely demolished and rebuilt to USGBC standards
  • 2014: 1175 Boston Providence Turnpike is the first office building in Norwood to achieve LEED Gold.
  • 2014: 235 Wyman Street achieves LEED certification and 404 Wyman Street achieve LEED Gold for Existing Building: Operations and Maintenance (LEED EBOM)
  • 2014: Comprehensive renovation activities are completed at 1301 Atwood Avenue, in Johnston R.I.
  • 2015: Hobbs Brook and Cimpress/Vistaprint celebrate the grand opening of 275 Wyman Street with ribbon cutting.
  • 2015: Hobbs Brook wins AGCMass Build New England Award
  • 2016: 610N Lincoln Street earns LEED Gold Certification
  • 2016: 275 Wyman Street earns LEED Gold Certification
  • 2016: 1301 Atwood Avenue learns LEED Gold Certification
