Our Company

404 Wyman Street - Hobbs BrookSince its inception in 1952, Hobbs Brook Management has been a pioneer in the development of premier office space in the Boston suburbs.

In 1954, we developed the first office building on Route 128 at our Waltham campus. With the completion of our next two buildings in 1963-64, Hobbs Brook Office Park became the first suburban office park in the metropolitan Boston area. Over the next 35 years, Hobbs Brook Office Park has grown to a nine building campus, featuring 1.2 million square feet of prime business space.

In 1989, 404 Wyman Street received the Judges’ Grand Design award from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) as the best overall project for its sustainable design and unique approach to cooling the building through thermal ice storage.

Today, Hobbs Brook Management owns and operates 15 buildings comprising approximately 2.0 million square feet of Class A office space.

Our newest project broke ground on July 17, 2008 and will be completed in the late fall/early winter of 2009. The campus at 175-185 Wyman Street in Waltham, Massachusetts will be comprised of two new buildings encompassing over 330,000 square feet. Located directly adjacent to Hobbs Brook Office Park, the addition of 175-185 Wyman Street to the existing park will allow us to create a more dynamic office environment while offering the best access to any office park on Route 128. 175-185 Wyman Street will have convenient structured and surface parking, mature landscaping, and direct access to Route 128/95 via the Wyman Street on/off ramp located directly across from the entrance to the new office park. Additionally, tenant signage will be directly visible from Route 128/95 and spectacular water views of the reservoir and the hills of Weston will be available to tenants.
