Our Company
In 1954, we developed the first office building on Route 128 at our Waltham campus. With the completion of our next two buildings in 1963-64, Hobbs Brook Office Park became the first suburban office park in the metropolitan Boston area. Over the next 35 years, Hobbs Brook Office Park has grown to a nine building campus, featuring 1.2 million square feet of prime business space. In 1989, 404 Wyman Street received the Judges’ Grand Design award from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) as the best overall project for its sustainable design and unique approach to cooling the building through thermal ice storage. Today, Hobbs Brook Management owns and operates 15 buildings comprising approximately 2.0 million square feet of Class A office space. Our most recently finished project was completed in early 2010. The campus at 175-185 Wyman Street in Waltham, Massachusetts is comprised of two new buildings encompassing over 335,000 square feet. Located at the foot of the Hobbs Brook Office Park, the addition of 175-185 Wyman Street to the existing park allows us to create a more dynamic office environment while offering the best access to any office park on Route 128.Dassault Systèmes Americas, who occupied the property in late 2011, keased the entire complex for more than 800 employees for the next 12 years. Due to the nature of this lease, Hobbs Brook Management was recognized with the Largest Suburban Office Lease in 2010 award by the Commercial Broker's Association. |
