WALTHAM, Massachusetts – February 1, 2008 – Hobbs Brook Management, a pioneer in the development of office space in the Boston suburbs, announced today that it has made a donation of $5,000 to the Waltham Gridiron Foundation at Waltham High School’s annual Football Banquet.
Each year, Hobbs Brook Management offers to pay $200 for every touchdown the Waltham High School football team makes during the season. This year the team made 23 touchdowns.
“Tom Dusel has supported the Waltham Gridiron Foundation and football in Waltham for the past 10 years,” said Richard Wetherbee, president of the Waltham Gridiron Foundation. “Thanks to his generous support, we have been able to expand the number of scholarships we can offer to football players and cheerleaders. Hobbs Brook Management is an important part of the Waltham community and we are proud to work together to give our children better opportunities.”
Hobbs Brook Management is the owner and property manager of the Forefront Conference Center located in Hobbs Brook Office Park. In addition to donating $5,000, Hobbs Brook Management hosts the annual Football Banquet at the Forefront Conference Center at no cost to the Waltham Gridiron Foundation. This year, 175 football players, cheerleaders and parents attended the banquet on Sunday, January 27, 2008.
