Property management and development firm recognized as a top charitable contributor in Massachusetts honored for third year in a row

WALTHAM, Mass. – September 12, 2017 Hobbs Brook Management LLC, a commercial property management and development firm specializing in leasing, construction and development of Class A office space, announced today that it has received a 2017 Corporate Citizenship Award by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ). As one of the top charitable contributors to Massachusetts nonprofits during the 2016 calendar year, Hobbs Brook was honored at the 12th annual Corporate Citizenship reception and celebration presented by Citizens Bank on Thursday, September 7 at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park.

Each year, the Boston Business Journal recognizes corporations and nonprofits that have demonstrated innovation and developed best practices in specific partnerships with nonprofits at any level of engagement, including volunteer work, cash donations, in-kind donations and board participation. Nominated companies are judges on the standards of mission, innovation, impact and sustainability, and an independent selection committee chooses honorees in the areas of community health, education, the arts, and innovation.

“To be ranked with Massachusetts’ most philanthropic companies is an honor, and one we work hard to achieve,” said Thomas Dusel, president and chief operating officer at Hobbs Brook Management. “Hobbs Brook is known for developing high quality, sustainable buildings and offering our tenants superior service. We pride ourselves on providing that same level of commitment to our community. Hobbs Brook is dedicated to being a responsible corporate citizen and a positive force enhancing our Commonwealth, and ranking on this prestigious list for three years in a row validates our commitment.”
