Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Are Now Active

By on Nov. 13, 2014

Hobbs Brook Management, LLC is thrilled to announce the launch of twelve dual-port Chargepoint® Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. These stations are part of a series of sustainable projects that HBM currently has underway. The stations are strategically located throughout the Hobbs Brook Office Park in Waltham and on the Norwood campus. They were activated on Thursday, November 6, 2014.

Charging stations are located at the following buildings:

  • 303/333 Wyman Street, Waltham, Mass.
  • 404 Wyman Street North Garage, West Entrance, Waltham, Mass.
  • 404 Wyman Street South Garage, East Entrance, Waltham, Mass.
  • 590 Lincoln Street, Waltham, Mass.
  • 1175 Boston Providence Highway, Norwood, Mass.

With the stations located directly in front of the buildings, EV owners now have preferred parking while charging.

Chargepoint® provides driver friendly use of the stations through an instructional video on a multi-language, touch-screen interface that works in the rain, ice, or with gloves on. To use the charging stations, EV drivers just have to create an account on the Chargepoint® website and they can easily monitor their charging.  Any electric vehicle with a SAE J1772 standard connecting port can be fully charged at these stations, including plug-in hybrids.

This is a very exciting time for Hobbs Brook, as we strive to continue providing our tenants with a sustainable business environment.  For more information, visit the Chargepoint® website or contact our Tenant Relations Manager at
