The Four Points Sheraton of Norwood is donating a going away party for 35 family and friends in the Junior Ballroom to Vladimir Levichev’s parents. Vladimir will be deploying to Iraq for the third time at the beginning of January and he has been named an Officer of the Deployment, 411 Civil Affairs Battalion.
Vladimir Levichev, who is turning 32 on December 27th, is a Boston police officer and a Captain in the United States Army. Vladimir will be deploying to Iraq for the third time at the beginning of January and he has been named an Officer of the Deployment, 411 Civil Affairs Battalion.
His previous deployments included a position as Civil Affairs Team Chief with the 411th Civil Affairs Battalion in Tikrit, Iraq from December 2004 through July 2005, and serving as part of Civil-Military Operations at the headquarters of the 1-36 Infantry Battalion in Baghdad, Iraq from December 2002 through August 2003. He has also served once in Afghanistan and twice in Kosovo.
Vladimir came to the United States in 1990 and graduated from Catholic Memorial Cum Laude. He is also a graduate of Boston University and currently enrolled in a continuing education program with the Criminal Justice Program at Curry College.
