Johnston, R.I.-based FM Global helps break ground on a four-story, 160,000 square-foot Norwood office building that the company will lease space in. Helping shovel the first layers of dirt are: (l-r) Tom Lawson, executive vice president; Ray Phillips, vice president, Boston operations manager; and Carmen DiAngelo, vice president, chemical operations manager, all of FM Global; Tom Dusel, president and COO; Don Oldmixon, first vice president, real estate construction and leasing, both of Hobbs Brook Management; John Parker, CEO, Dedham Medical Associates; Helen Abdallah Donohue, Norwood selectwoman; Marc Margulies, principal, Margulies Perruzzi Architects; Lisa Rudenstein, administrative assistant, FM Global; Jim Marsh, senior vice president, chief operating officer, Columbia Construction Company; and Mike Turner, senior vice president, Eastern division manager, FM Global. The building, located at 1175 Boston/Providence Highway will be shared by FM Global and Dedham Medical Associates.
